The aim of the visit was for the trainees to learn the active rehabilitation-model that VHSS (Valnesfjord Helsesportssenter/ VRC (Valnesfjord Rehabilitation Centre) is using.

The trainees spent three days at VHSS/ VRC, learning to know the VHSS/ VRC organization and our personell. The visit included a guided tour around the facilities. Jann-Hårek Lillevoll presented the VHSS/ VRC active rehabilitation model, and the occupational rehabilitation network.

The Lithuanian health care and welfare system was presented by the Lithuanians, while Dr. Odd Almendingen presented the Norwegian health care and welfare model.

The trainees also observed and participated in varied indoor- and outdoor activities; among others in Hippotherapy.
